What to Expect
What if I don't know what I want?
That’s perfectly normal and understandable! You know something is bothering you, but you don’t know what to ask for. That’s what we’re here for. Come in and explain to us what you’d like to see and we will work with you on the best treatments to make you feel your best again.
Will I get treatment on the first visit?
That is up to you! Generally patients come in knowing approximately what they want. I can tell them how to achieve the results they want and most are ready to get started. But of course, if you need more time, you can take it.
How Should I Prepare?
What should I avoid?
For the best result, please avoid any drugs or supplements that would cause excess bleeding for at least three days before your appointment to reduce bruising. This includes aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil and alcohol. If you are taking prescription medication including blood thinner, please alert Wendy before your appointment.
Please avoid vaccines for two weeks before your treatment.
Can I exercise?
Please avoid exercise within one hour of your treatment.
What About After?
What about exercise?
If you have had any injections, please avoid exercise for 24 hours after your treatment.
What else?
If you have had any injectable, please avoid vaccines for two weeks post treatment.
If you have had dermal fillers, avoid dental work for at least two weeks post treatment.
